Star Wars Lego was first released in 1999. When each new film was close to being released, Lego would bring out sets that were based on the film. It has grown and grown since 1999, now it is not only ready as Lego sets, but also in the form of a Lego watch, alarm clock, pen, magnet and even and video games. In 2007 some of the sets had a bonus C3Po - some of these were chrome and a few of them were precisely 14k gold. It was pot luck, some lucky buyers got a C3Po 14k gold in their box.
Star Wars Lego comes in many dissimilar box sets. As with all the series, this series is no dissimilar - adults and children alike collect the sets as they are released. The sets start out at an affordable price of less than ten dollars, but can go up in the hundreds. These come with minifigures included in the box which can also be purchased separately. Other Lego products also come with the minifigures, such as the Lego watch. The alarm clock is precisely shaped the same as a minifigure, but it comes at eight times the size of the normal minifigures. It even has arms and legs that move the same.
Lego Story
Lego did hold the licence to produce it until 2008 but they recently extended this licence until 2011. However, with the vast number of sales it is unbelievable that they may apply to increase the licence again.
